Spring/SUmmer 24 - Swaia fashion week
Inspired by the legacy and textiles from their Great Great Aunt Josephine Myers Wapp, this collection fuses heritage with 70’s Disco inspired garments to represent a celebration of indigenous joy during a pivotal political era for Native peoples.
This collection showcased models of the Native LGBTQ+ community, Legacies such as Arysa Studie, granddaughter of world known actor Wes Studi and kicked off the event with a Comanche hymn sung by Marla Nauni and rollerskater Mourning Dove.
